Import and export your rules

Export

1. Open Rules.
2. Click Export to save every rule, or select some first to save only those.
3. FireAI writes a plain-text rule file. Its Save panel currently suggests the name “FirewAi rules.fwai”, an older internal name for the app.

Import

1. Click Import and choose a FireAI rule file (.fwai, or plain .txt).
2. FireAI shows what will change before adding anything: how many rules are new, updated, or already there, and any lines it couldn’t read.
3. Lines it can’t read are listed with the line number and why, and are skipped rather than guessed at.
4. Click Import to bring in the new and updated rules, or Cancel to change nothing.
