# Your preferences, kept in your own words

> Your preferences keeps every order you’ve applied through Ask FireAI on your Mac, listed exactly as you typed it, so you can find and undo it later.

Find and undo anything you’ve ever asked FireAI to do, in the words you used.

“What you asked FireAI in your own words.” Each entry shows the sentence you typed, a short summary of what it did, and when you asked for it.

> **Warning:** Deleting a preference also deletes the rules it created — it isn’t just a note, it’s the record behind those rules.

This is separate from Rules, which lists every rule however it was created; Your preferences only lists the ones you asked for through Ask FireAI, in the words you used. See [Ask FireAI](https://hisnlabs.com/fireai/en/docs/ask-fireai) for how these orders are created in the first place.
