# FireAI Pilot: FireAI decides the easy connections for you

> FireAI Pilot is a FireAI mode where a built-in on-device model answers straightforward connection prompts on your Mac by itself, and explains every decision.

**Where in FireAI:** Protection › When an app connects somewhere new

Let FireAI clear the easy decisions on its own, and always see why.

FireAI Pilot is one of FireAI’s operating modes, alongside Alert, Silent – allow and Silent – deny. Turn it on and FireAI’s own built-in decision model — separate from the optional on-device language model used by Ask FireAI, and needing no download — answers confident, everyday connections on its own, and only asks you about the ones it isn’t sure of.

## What you see

- A confident decision becomes a visible rule in a “FireAI Pilot” group in Rules, so you can always find and remove it.
- Each decision in Suggestions shows what happened (“Blocked App → destination” or “Allowed App → destination”), how sure FireAI was as a percentage, and a short reason such as a known tracker or a destination the app has never used before.
- Click Undo on any FireAI Pilot decision to remove the rule and teach it the opposite; “Forget What FireAI Learned” resets everything it has learned from your corrections and habits.

> **Note:** FireAI Pilot starts from cautious, hand-set defaults and adjusts from your own answers and corrections over time. FireAI doesn’t publish a fixed number of days before it takes on harder decisions — treat early decisions as worth reviewing in Suggestions, especially while it’s still new to your Mac. See [using FireAI Pilot safely](https://hisnlabs.com/fireai/en/docs/use-autopilot-safely) for how to review those early decisions.

From FireAI 0.1.8, FireAI Pilot also learns per Wi-Fi network and per security mode: a connection you allow at home can stay blocked on a café or jobsite Wi-Fi, and what you block in Coffee shop mode follows that mode to any network. See [how FireAI Pilot learns each network](https://hisnlabs.com/fireai/en/docs/fireai-pilot-learns-per-network).

> **Warning:** It never learns from its own decisions, never auto-allows an unsigned app from similarity alone, and a broken code signature always goes to the underlying model rather than a shortcut.
